Universal Blaze started in 2004. When UB's lead guitarist Jordan and bass guitarist Scott were in the same 6th
grade class. They were talking about music and decided to start a band. Their original name was Militant Youth,
but was changed 2 years later beacuse it was already taken. After a couple changes they decided on White Flash.
White Flash was changed once they found a drummer, Lucas. Cosmic Flare was a named they all liked but was changed once
again to Universal Blaze! The trio signed up for their school talent show, and rocked the house! Agreeing that
they should just decide on UB because they all liked it and they started getting fans. UB found a snyth player and then
rocked their 8th grade graduation. Going into high school UB was down back to only Scott and Jordan. They found
another drummer, Brett. They also found a rhythm guitarist, who turned out to be their singer also. After finding
a different drummer, Jesse, Universal Blaze all the positions filled, and happy. Now Universal Blaze plays local gigs,
and hopes to make a CD and grow!
